With wizards' hats on, wands and magic cauldrons in hand, your children are ready to face the Halloween horror night of 31 October 2022. Wherever you live in France, GEO suggests you discover four activities to celebrate Halloween with your family or friends!
Celebrate Halloween at the Château de Chantilly
Considered one of the jewels of French heritage, the Château de Chantilly, its gardens and its large stables are opening their doors for an atypical visit on the occasion of Halloween. From 21 to 31 October 2022, discover the mysteries and legends of the château during a night-time guided tour by torchlight (distributed on site before the tour begins). A guide will also present unusual objects and tell the most courageous the legend of the White Lady. Don't let your guard down, the spirits of the Castle are all around you!

Discover the dark side of Paris on a guided tour
Discover the dark side of the capital with Cultival. The special Halloween tour begins with a visit to the Conciergerie, one of the symbols of the Île de la Cité, but also one of the most famous (and feared) prisons. We then head for the centre of the capital for an immersion in stories of bloody murders and black magic. Also worth a visit: the Frerronerie, scene of the dismal assassination of Henri IV in 1610!
Confronting the spirits of the Château des Ducs de Bretagne in Nantes
From 27 October to 30 October 2022, the Château des Ducs de Bretagne, in Nantes, welcomes visitors for a discovery of the site at nightfall. From 6.15 pm, when the spirits wake up... For two hours, young and old alike will listen to "thrilling" stories in order to understand why the spirits have been haunting the place for so many years...
⋙ What is the history of All Saints' Day?
Celebrate Halloween with your family at Château Rivau
On 29, 30 and 31 October 2022, Château Rivau & Fairy Tale Garden, in Lémeré, Indre-et-Loire, is opening its doors to families who want to celebrate Halloween! On the programme? Trick-or-treating (for 6-10 year olds) and a treasure hunt (for 11 year olds and over) in the estate's gardens. The only condition: show up dressed in your most terrifying costume!
Scare yourself at the Futuroscope for All Saints' Day
From 22 October to 6 November, the Futuroscope is also transformed for Halloween and promises "a great moment of thrill"! For the occasion, nearly a ton of pumpkins will be placed here and there to decorate the park as it should be. Pumpkins will be supplied by local producers and then cooked on site or offered to associations. During the All Saints' Day holidays, the Futuroscope offers various activities for the whole family to discover as well as a night show called La Clé des Songes.
