What are the 10 best hikes in France?

For the upcoming spring holidays, you may be planning to go hiking on the many trails in France: this ranking of the best French hikes will certainly give you some ideas. At the beginning of February, Sportsshoes.com published a ranking of the ten best hikes in France. The sports equipment manufacturer sifted through Google search and Instagram hashtag data and detected almost 50 French routes. It remained to analyze which ones were the most searched for... and therefore the most popular.

On the first step of the podium: we find the Camino Frances, which is far from being a surprise since it is also present in the ranking of the best hikes in the world. Then come the famous GR 20, GR 31, and GR 10. Here is the detailed list.

Go to Saint-Jean-Pied-du-Port if you want to walk a part of it: for the whole route, you'll need 4 to 5 weeks!
